The University of Auckland is one of the few education providers that recognises a need for the growth and support of people wanting to make change for our most vulnerable people.”

“Having previously worked with children and young people with special needs, I chose this programme for the chance to learn and develop myself in evaluation, programme development and social entrepreneurship. I like the fact that the University wants to encourage leaders and innovators in the social services sector.

“I believe this masters will enable me to grow the ideas and drive I have to bring about the best for others in need, so they can have the lives they desire.

“The thesis project excites me because it will enable me to create something I have thought of that will bring benefit to people in need, within a safe and supervised learning environment.

“The right education and support to those who are pushing for change can make all the difference to the many organisations, charities, services and provisions across New Zealand.”
