Our Information Session in the Master of Teaching (Primary) will help you get all the answers you need to start your journey towards a career in education and teaching. The Master of Teaching (Primary) is a one-year masters programme designed for those who already have a degree in another discipline and want to become a qualified teacher. At this Information Session you'll have the opportunity to:
- Hear from staff and graduates about what primary teaching is all about and what it’s like being a teacher.
- Learn about the Master of Teaching Primary programme.
- Find out about the learning hubs established in partnership with Auckland primary schools and how you will learn in schools, with teachers.
- Speak with our teaching staff and current students in the programme to get all your questions answered.
- Receive application advice and support from our student advisers.
Note: To be eligible for this programme, you must hold a bachelors degree or higher (in any discipline) with a GPA of 5.0.
