He mihi ki Ranginui e tū ake nei
Ki Papa-tu-a-nuku e hora nei.
E nga mana, e nga reo, tēnā koutou
Tēnā koutou katoa e nga manu kōrero
Kia kaha kia maia kia manawanui.

He pānui tēnei ki nga manu kōrero, ki nga pouako, ki nga whānau kia mōhio mai ki nga tū āhua e whai ake nei mō te Ao whakaako

Taking on tertiary studies can be overwhelming, especially if you haven’t studied for a long time. We have a diversity of students at the faculty, including school-leavers and mature students, and who come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Regardless of age or what corner of Aotearoa they come from, our students, staff and graduates have one thing in common - genuine interest in helping our tamariki achieve.

As a teacher you’ll have the opportunity to inspire and help our young people reach their full potential and  become confident global citizens.

Getting the best of both worlds

Studying at Te Puna Wananga gives you the best of both worlds. You’ll gain a highly regarded qualification from New Zealand’s leading university while enjoying the whanaungatanga of the whanau-based, close-knit and supportive environment you’ll find at our Epsom and Tai Tokerau campuses.
