Student Support Advisor (Māori)

Rochai’s role is to support all Māori students enrolled at the Faculty of Education and Social Work. She can advise in three key areas - academic, pastoral and financial. Rochai has a open-door policy, however, if you want to guarantee that you see her, please make an appointment. She is available to have one-to-one sessions or to work with groups. She has an extensive knowledge of scholarships, especially Māori scholarships, and also has contacts at Study Link.

Academic Advisor/Community Engagement Māori

Ata's role is to help students with their applications, enrolments and degree planning. Her main focus areas are Te Puna Wānanga programmes (Bachelor of Education (Teaching) - Huarahi Māori and Foundation Certificate Tohu Tūāpapa Mātauranga). However, she is happy to assist any Māori students with queries.
