Tai Tokerau Campus
The Tai Tokerau campus was established in 1992 in Whangarei. It is the Northland site for teacher education programmes offered by the Faculty of Education, the University of Auckland.
Programmes offered at the Tai Tokerau campus include:
- New Start [New in 2009]
- Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Primary
- Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Huarahi Māori
- Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary)
Early Childhood (Flexible Delivery)
(Off campus learning option)
- Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Early Childhood Education
- Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
The Tai Tokerau Campus is located at 13 Alexander St, Whangarei, a short distance from the city centre.
The Tai Tokerau campus offers a supportive learning environment and provides a range of facilities including a computer suite, student recreation centre, library, resource room and student learning support unit. The campus is well served by plenty of student car parking and easy access to the central business district and recreational facilities.

Office hours are from 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Lectures are normally held from 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Thursday, during Semester One - February to July and Semester Two - July to December.
