“I became really interested in drama as a tool for teaching when I worked in Africa helping educate communities through development theatre. Long term I would like to have my own theatre company, but I realised I needed to know more about education and teaching. I’ve enjoyed covering the theory and I’ve also been able to create resources that I can use in the classroom. This programme is also helping me develop as a person and feel more confident in a leadership role. The lecturers are approachable and are always willing to answer questions and offer guidance with a smile.”

Natasha Falconer is studying for a Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary). On graduation and with a background in fashion design and a Bachelor of Performing Arts, she will be qualified to teach Drama and Technology (soft materials) at secondary level.
