Research

As a faculty we are committed to research and research-led teaching being the primary responsibilities of our academic staff. We place great importance on fostering and publishing research of the highest quality.

Faculty researchers have established a programme of educational research that focuses on educational processes, and using intervention to try and improve their impact.

These interventions address aspects of the system (such as curriculum design or national assessment), school organisation and other aspects of teaching and learning.

Research in social work and human services seeks to improve the readiness of practitioners to view research as a key part of the contribution they can make to the wellbeing of their client's communities.
