The University of Auckland Library Te Tumu Herenga
The University Library provides quality library and information services to University students and staff to support and enhance their teaching, research, scholarship and creative work.
The library system has 12 subject-specific libraries and 4 Information Commons facilities. Collections include over 2.2 million print volumes; 81,700 electronic journals; 284,000 electronic books and over 700 databases.
LEARN, the library website provides access to information about library services and collections, including Voyager, the library catalogue allowing searching of collections in all libraries. Access to databases is also provided from LEARN.

The Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library Te Herenga Whakaakoranga
The Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library provides resources and services to meet the information needs of Faculty of Education students and staff, and has strong collections of information relating to all aspects of education, social work, human services and youth studies.
Collections include:
- Electronic journals, books and databases
- Print books and journals
- Videos, DVDs and CDs
- Resources written for children, including fiction, non-fiction and audio-visual resources
- Maori collection
- Pasifika collection
Services include:
- Instruction and assistance with searching and using information
- Borrowing from the collections
- Short Loan collection for high demand resources
- Specialist services for students enrolled in flexible learning courses
- Study facilities
Staff and enrolled students are automatically members of the Library and are able to use all University of Auckland Libraries. Resources held in libraries on other campuses can be requested to be delivered to another location.
The Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library has branches on the Epsom and Tai Tokerau campuses.

Epsom Information Commons
The Epsom Information Commons is located in the Sylvia Ashton-Warner Library.
The Epsom Information Commons has 58 computers. There are also 13 laptops for use in the library and the library building has a wireless network.
Information Commons Services include
- Assistance with using software and systems
- Access to word-processing and other software
- Internet and email access
- Printing, scanning and photocopying
The Library at Tai Tokerau campus has computers for student use as well as copying and printing services.
