"I’d been working with children in the sports and leisure industry overseas and really enjoyed interacting with them. I found it so rewarding seeing kids learn and develop so teaching seemed like the logical career path for me."
Hayden has found the personal approach taken by the faculty to be really supportive, through small class sizes and regular email and personal contact with lecturers. Whilst at times practicum has been fairly intensive, he says, " It’s been great to get to see how real classrooms operate and with the support of staff and associate teachers it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable experience."
