There are a number of scholarships in teaching available. For further information, please refer to the frequently asked questions.

The University of Auckland Scholarships and Financial Support Office is situated in Room 123 of the ClockTower. Their services include: the advice and administration of scholarships, prizes and awards; administration of The University of Auckland Access Awards; advice on all funding available to enrolled students including loans, allowances and StudyLink benefits; financial assistance to enrolled students in financial hardship with grants and interest-free loans from the Student Emergency Fund.

Tuition Fees bursaries for students in the faculty of Education

We are offering bursaries of up to $2,000 each to newly enrolling students in any undergraduate or postgraduate programme taken through the Faculty of Education 2007.

They are designed to overcome financial barriers for students who have the potential and will to succeed in our programmes and the careers they lead to.

How is my application assessed?

  • The selection panel will take into account your;
  • suitability and potential to succeed in the programme you are applying for
  • financial need or hardship
  • potential to advanced the interests of under-represented groups in the field of education

You must be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have refugee status.
