We offer two pathways in Maori education:
- Bachelor of Education (Teaching) Huarahi Maori Specialisation:
This programme is designed for people who are confident in te reo Maori, and want to teach in Maori immersion, kura kaupapa, bilingual schools, or even in mainstream primary schools.

- Foundation Certificate Tohu Tuapapa Matauranga
This is a one year programme for people who would like to develop their te reo Maori, tikanga Maori and tertiary study skills. Many of our graduates from this programme (formerly Te Reo Hapai) have gone on to study towards their Bachelor of Education (Teaching) - Huarahi Maori Specialisation.
