Effective differentiation of teaching and learning. Potentiating classrooms. Inclusive provision.Use of assessment to enhance teacher effectiveness and student achievement. Young gifted and talented learners.

Young gifted and talented writers. Socio-emotional aspects of giftedness. Qualitative research - case study / narrative.


Professional Links

I value and foster links with effective practitioners in schools. Invited to speak to students on both paers I'm presently coordinating.

25 years' experience, working in educational areas.(10years involvement in facilitating and leadership roles at a local, regional and national level within NZ Playcentre Association. 15years as a trained primary teacher.

Gifted Education advisor for Auckland area primary schools, 2001.

G2 Deputy Principal of a G5 primary school 1998 - 2000-(Thames South School) with overall responsibility for curriculum development schoolwide, whole school development and whole staff professional development.
