Teaching Area/Interests
My particular interest is in Gifted Education, but this also sits comfortably alongside
Inclusive Education. Crucial to all teaching is sound Assessment and using this for teaching and planning is a particular interest for me.
Research Interests (area & methodologies)
As a beginning researcher my initial work investigated the transition to school for gifted children. I would be interested to do further study in Gifted Education and improving teaching practices for gifted students. I am also interested in researching areas of assessment.
My work has been in a Quantitative Case study methodology

A particular passion for me is the development of committed competent teachers who can make a difference for children in classes.
