• Dip. Fine Arts - University of Canterbury
• Diploma Teaching (Secondary) - Christchurch Teachers' Training College
• Diploma Teaching ECE, B.ED ECE - Auckland College of Education

Previous professional experience (prior to present position)

• Taught English, Art history and Art at high schools in Dunedin and Christchurch
