Previous professional experience (prior to present position)

I have taught for20 years in Primary and Secondary schools and have had classes ranging from New Entrants to Form 7. Area of speciality: Reading Across the Curriculum, English, Performance Drama. I have taught in rural and urban schools and in Birminham, England. Last two teaching positions: English Dept, Avondale College, PR 1; Lecturer: Centre of Professional Inquiry, ACE. . In the distant past I have also been active in the Playcentre movement where I have taken on various responsibilities: committee member, parent supervisor, playcentre library and educational equipment.
