Barbara Matthews has taught in New Zealand, Australia and Japan in the areas of Primary Teaching and teaching English both as an Additional Language and as a Foreign Language. She has held various senior positions in schools, as a Principal, Deputy Principal and Senior Teacher. Currently she teaches a range of courses in language and literacy in the Bachelor of education Programme and teaches a Master’s paper in Applied Linguistics.
