Introduction
Alexis Siteine’s background is in primary teaching with interest and experience in the teaching of adolescents in the primary school.
Educational history
She has worked as an intermediate school teacher and curriculum facilitator in the learning areas of English and Technology. She completed her teacher training at North Shore Teachers’ College, an undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University-Hawaii, and has completed a Masters degree at The University of Auckland.
Area of expertise
Her area of expertise lies in social studies education.
Research and professional interest
Alexis’s research interests centre around social studies education and citizenship. She is also interested in Pasifika perspectives in education.
Current teaching
Alexis currently teaches in the Bachelor of Education(Teaching).
