Introduction
I have been a lecturer with the Tai Tokerau Campus in Whangarei lecturing in teacher education since 1996. I currently teach in the Primary and Secondary pathway in Physical Education, Health and Outdoor Education, as well as Professional Inquiry and Inclusive Education.

Physical Education pedagogy, and the sociology of sport.
Research and professional interests
Currently embarking on a PhD in examining the nature of ‘Violence in New Zealand Sport and how it shapes the male identity.
