The degree programme is normally completed in 4-6 years from date of registration:
PART ONE: EDPROFST 841 Research Portfolio (120 pts in total)
The Research Portfolio is completed over the first two years of the programme and consists of four supervised research tasks: a critical literature review, a methodology project, the preparation of an article for submission to a refereed academic journal, and the development of a detailed Thesis proposal. There is a strong connection between the tasks completed in the Research Portfolio and the interests addressed in the Thesis.
PART TWO: EDPROFST 897 Thesis (240 pts in total)
The thesis builds on the work completed in the Research Portfolio, and meets international standards of scholarship at a doctoral level.
