Feedback from the course team, peer reviewers and supervisors is provided to assist candidates in their progress through Part One of the degree. At the end of the second year of Part One for each cohort, candidates submit their completed Research Portfolios and present a public seminar (‘Confirmation Seminar’). Portfolios and seminars are examined by the cohort course team, at least one member of the supervision team, and an external assessor.
Entry to Part Two of the degree (the Thesis) is conditional upon successful completion of all requirements for Part One (the Research Portfolio).
