Bachelor of Arts - Education Major/Minor The Bachelor of Arts is a three-year programme of full-time study within the Faculty of Arts. You can study education as either a major or a minor, familiarising yourself with the history, sociology, philosophy, politics and psychology of education.
General Education The University is introducing a General Education programme into its undergraduate degrees. General Education is aimed at producing graduates with flexibility, critical thinking skills, and an appreciation and understanding of fields outside of their usual area of study.
The Faculty of Education offers four courses as part of the General Education schedule; EDUC 121G How People Learn, EDUC 122G Learning Sexualities, DISABLTY 113G Making Disabilities and YOUTHWRK 152G Understanding Youth Cultures.
