Minister of Education to deliver NCEA speech at Faculty of Education

The Minister of Education, the Hon Steve Maharey, will soon visit the Faculty of Education’s Epsom Campus to deliver a public speech entitled, "NCEA: Time to Stand Up for Our National Qualification".

Following on from an announcement on 29 May, the Minister will speak to members of the education sector about criticisms of NCEA from some quarters, recent improvements and where to from here. There will be an opportunity for questions at the end of the Minister's speech.

The presentation will be held from 9.00am - 10.15am on Thursday, 7 June in lecture theatre J-102 at the Faculty of Education’s Epsom Campus (74 Epsom Ave, Epsom).

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees will be seated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking is available in the public car park located at Gate 2, 76 Epsom Ave.
