Teaching and Learning Quality Committee

 

Terms of Reference :

  • To ensure that the Faculty complies with University policies, and contributes to University and Faculty of Education strategic objectives in relation to Teaching and Learning.
  • To recommend on Faculty policies and activities to improve the quality of teaching and learning within the Faculty of Education.
  • To advise and recommend on Faculty policies and procedures for the evaluation of teaching and learning.
  • To oversee the quality of course design, and programme coherence.
  • To monitor the quality of teaching and learning and the extent to which teaching is research-informed.
  • To advise, recommend and administer teaching improvement grants and teaching excellence awards within the Faculty.

Frequency of meetings : Monthly
Quorum : 50% attendance
Alternate : Yes but limited to two meetings
