Equity Committee

 

Terms of Reference :

  • To report and recommend to Faculty and the Dean on policy and procedures in the areas of Equal Employment and Equal Education Opportunities and the Faculty’s strategic development in equity related matters.
  • To promote, disseminate, develop and monitor implementation of EEO and EEdO policies and best practices in accordance with the University of Auckland’s and Faculty of Education’s responsibilities and statutory obligations in these areas and under the Treaty of Waitangi.
  • To monitor and evaluate EEO and EEdO performance and procedures across the Faculty and advise the Dean on EEO and EEdO compliance and resources needs.
  • To nominate EO representatives to sit on Faculty Committees as required.
