  • School Support Services
    Provides teacher support services throughout Auckland and Northland through Team Solutions and Reading Recovery Services and the operation of Education Centres. It also contracts to provide curriculum development, education management and teacher development programmes for the New Zealand Ministry of Education and for a variety of other funding agencies.

  • School Leadership Centre
    We present high quality professional development for principals and other school leaders. Expert education and business leaders within New Zealand as well as respected international educational leaders present local and international perspectives.

  • Centre for Educational Design and Development

    The Centre for Educational Design and Development (CEDD) is an advice and support centre for staff involved in developing courses - in particular for flexible teaching and learning. We provide academic and specialist advice and support to lecturers. We also support students enrolled in ‘flexible learning’ courses/programme by mailing out resources, providing technical support with online learning, and processing student assignments.

  • Tai Tokerau Campus
    The Tai Tokerau campus is a small but friendly campus located in the central business area of Whangarei. It has much to offer people wishing to choose teaching as a career. Students are able to enrol in teacher education programmes that are rewarding and satisfying.There are free support services available on campus, plus a range of modern facilities that are easily accessible.

  • The Faculty has a purpose-built international centre to cater for teaching programmes especially designed for international teachers, principals and education administrators. We have an international advisor who is the central point of contact for all overseas students. The advisor is available to answer any questions you have about your studies or living in New Zealand.   • Te Puna Kōhungahunga - Māori Medium Early Childhood Centre
    Te Puna Kōhungahunga is set up to provide Maori Medium Early Childhood Care and Education for students and staff at the University of Auckland, with additional spaces available for the community. Currently we are licensed for up to 45 children with 10 spaces available for children under two years. Children at the centre must be 10 months or older.

  • Early Childhood Professional Support
    At Early Childhood Professional Support we offer programmes for teachers, centres and services (licensed and chartered) to engage in continued professional learning.
    Early Childhood Professional Support provides options and oppportunities to engage in professional learning with the support of a facilitator. Programmes offered in the Auckland and Northland regions are based upon areas of pracitce identified by centres - aimed at improving the capability of teachers and the capacity of centres

  • Woolf Fisher Research Centre
    Established in 1998 with funds from the Woolf Fisher Trust, its primary objective is to promote research-based positive educational interventions working with children/students, teachers, communities and colleagues in South Auckland - with a particular emphasis on Maori and Pacific Islands children's educational achievement.
