Applying and enrolling

Applications for Admission to The University of Auckland are handled through the central Admissions Office of The University of Auckland, and it is highly recommended that you apply on-line by clicking on Apply now for 2010.

Most Faculty of Education programmes also require you to complete a Supplementary Information Form in addition to your Application for Admission to the University. There are different forms, depending on which programme you are applying for. They may be downloaded from this website by choosing the correct form from the list below.

Alternatively you can call one of our customer service consultants on (09) 623 8883 or via the main university call centre on 0800 61 62 63 and ask for one to be mailed to you. The Supplementary Information Form may be returned as soon as you have completed it - please do not wait for the result of your application for admission result before submitting it. This form is important, since it enables the Faculty to make informed decisions about who it will select into its programmes.

You may be requested to attend an interview, either in person or via telephone, before final Faculty selection is made. In some cases you will also be required to arrange referee reports.

If you are selected by the Faculty as a suitable applicant for your specific programme and your Application for Admission to The University is successful, you will be offered a place in the programme that you then have to accept or decline. If you accept (and we hope that you will) then you will be eligible to enrol in the courses that you require.
