“I came to New Zealand in 2010 for a high quality education and a better living environment.
“I have been living in Auckland for five years now and I really enjoy living here. Auckland has so many beautiful beaches and parks, I love spending time at the beach with my friends in summer.
“I had always wanted to become a teacher when I was young. I enjoy spending time with children. I visited a centre before I made my decision to study Early Childhood Teaching and it gave me an idea of New Zealand’s early childhood education system − it was very different from my country. I love the idea of free play and child led learning.
“I hope to work in the Early Childhood Education field once I graduate, in a kindergarten or an education centre. I also plan to study towards a postgraduate degree in a relevant education area after a few years of working.”
