Stephanie Tucker

Bachelor of Arts in Education and Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary)

Stephanie-Tucker

“I decided to study a Bachelor of Arts in Education because I was able to study a broader range of courses in subjects that I had a passion for, such as French and History, as well as getting the in-depth knowledge of Education.

“Studying Education as a subject in the Arts gave me a wide and diverse understanding of the prominent issues within the Education system in New Zealand. It provided me with an extensive base of knowledge that will help support further study and give me confidence when I am required to do practical work in classrooms.

“I chose to study at the University of Auckland because it is internationally recognised and is ranked highly among the top universities in
the world. I also recognised it as an ideal place to learn to become a primary school teacher and had heard many positive things about the Education faculty.”

Stephanie Tucker completed a Bachelor of Arts in Education and History. She is now studying towards a one-year Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Primary) to become a primary school teacher.
