The role of the Academic English Language Coordinator (DELNA) is to work with students in developing an individual learning pathway to increase academic English language skills.

Find the right English language support for you

Book a session with the coordinator to:

  • set language learning goals
  • develop an individual learning plan
  • select language learning resources
  • identify relevant language learning strategies

Study at your own pace in your own time

Use the computers to access an interactive learning course based on your individual learning plan. This includes:

  • academic reading and writing skills
  • a graded reader course
  • speaking and pronunciation
  • listening in an academic context
  • grammar skills
  • increasing academic vocabulary

Join interactive group activities

Consolidate your individual learning by participating in:

  • a conversation group on topics of your own choice
  • workshops on a range of academic language skills
