The Richard Tinning Research Unit (RTRU) provides an intellectual hub for scholars working in the field of critical studies in Health Education, Physical Education, and Sports Studies. It focuses  on doing research into the areas of health, physical activity and movement culture in ways that inform new education policy, programmes and practices.
