Play.sport learning


Play.sport is a project supporting teachers, schools, parents and community organisations to improve the quality of young people’s experiences of play, physical education, physical activity and sport.

The project, which was launched in March 2016, is currently available as a pilot in 44 schools across Upper Hutt and Waitakere. It is focused on developing an understanding of the ideal implementation approach, critical success factors and impact.

Team Solutions contributes a team of 11 physical education facilitators and mentors to the Play.sport professional development initiative funded by Sport New Zealand. Team Solutions brings in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand educational environment and the health and physical education curriculum to Play.sport.
