Faculty of Education and Social Work
About us
We have a variety of resources and facilities available to visiting international teachers, principals and education administrators.
We have an international adviser who is the central point of contact for all overseas students. The adviser is available to answer any questions you have about your studies or living in New Zealand.
The International Centre is for the exclusive use of visiting international educators. It has a kitchen and dining area, as well as several computers that are linked to the network for email and internet communications.
Teaching resources and texts are also available, along with international newspapers and magazines. The room is available for use as a study and recreational space during the week.
We offer high quality professional development in:
- personal English development
- teaching and learning English as a second language
- aspects related to the New Zealand education system
- school management and administration
- curriculum development
- professional development for principals and administrators.
