A generous scholarship aimed at primary teaching graduates with an interest in teaching science and mathematics who wish to complete an honours year specialising in those subjects is now open.

The Woolf Fisher Trust Honours Scholarships are valued at up to $12,500 each including fees. They are open to graduates of the Bachelor of Education (Teaching) or an equivalent programme, including those holding current teaching positions, who have demonstrated interest and expertise in science and mathematics teaching at primary school level. The scholarships support them to complete a Bachelor of Education (Honours) degree, specialising in primary school science and mathematics teaching.

There are a number of scholarships on offer, and applications for this round close on 29 October 2018.

For more information about the scholarships, including application details, visit the University of Auckland's scholarship page.
