In increasingly multi-ethnic teaching environments in New Zealand classrooms and tertiary learning environments it is important to identify and discuss effective culturally sustaining practices that are informed through experience and research.

For Semester 1 2019 NaMSIN will provide a series of seminars to explore strategies employed by tertiary educators that align with the principles of culturally sustaining pedagogy and biculturalism.

This is an invitation to participate in this ongoing scholarly conversation.
